Is TimetableMaker really 100% free?
Yes. TimetableMaker is free to use forever. There are no hidden subscription plans, watermark overlays, or class creation limits. We monetize unobtrusively using standard Google AdSense ads outside of the editing table.
Will I lose my work if I close my browser tab?
No! Every change you make (adding a subject, changing times, moving cards) automatically saves to your browser's LocalStorage in real time. When you revisit the website on the same device, your schedule reloads immediately.
How can I access my timetable from a different computer or phone?
You can either export your schedule as a JSON file and import it on another device, or create a free user account. When logged in, your schedules sync directly to the cloud and remain accessible from any device.
What export formats are supported?
TimetableMaker supports PDF (A4 Portrait, A4 Landscape, and US Letter sizes), PNG image (with high DPI), JPG image, direct physical printing, and JSON data backup.
How does the conflict detection system work?
Whenever you add, edit, or drag a class block, our conflict engine compares its day and time range against all existing blocks. It flags schedule overlaps, teacher double-bookings (the same instructor assigned to two simultaneous periods), and room conflicts (the same physical room booked twice).
Can I share my timetable with classmates or students?
Yes! Click the Share button in the toolbar to generate a unique shareable link. Anyone who visits the link can view your timetable without having to log in, and they can clone a copy to their own device with one click.
